YOUR BRIGHTEST VACAY YET

The Gold Coast’s brightest boutique motel, The Mysa Motel invites guests to skip the cookie cutter accommodation offering and stay instead in a space that features pops of colour around every corner.

Artfully dressed in pastel hues, the motel’s seven rooms are all unique, featuring different coloured walls and fun accents including custom tile details – such as shimmering ‘mermaid tiles’ – throughout, tinted grout in the bathrooms, and quirky artworks of vintage Gold Coast scenes.

Most of the rooms are named after the individual paint swatch that colours its walls and front doors; with guests staying in ‘Lilac Affair’ enjoying pastel purple hues, and those in ‘Koi’ waking to butter yellow views.

Outside, the motel’s façade is highlighted by explosions of colour in the form of its iconic neon sign, Barbie-pink sun loungers and brightly striped umbrellas that surround a sparkling mineral pool. Thoughtful landscaping that is hinged on native Australian plants also integrates natural colour into the setting.

Mysa Motel owners, Jase and Eliza, said it’s hard not to be captivated by the cheerful bursts of colour at the motel.

“As moteliers, we exist in a world of monochrome, neutrals, and white-washed walls, which all have their place, but we wanted to offer something unique and memorable. We wanted to delight our guests and stand out from the crowd,” they said.

“We love the thought of our guests being cheered by the motel’s bubbly personality and waking up with a smile. The Gold Coast is a bright and happy destination, and we believe we have encapsulated its identity in our presentation.”
